This 7yo mare has been in top form this season and the way she won last time makes her the one to beat. This race should be run at a very strong pace with at least two front runners which should bring her stamina into play.

16/03/21 – 1st 15/8 – Guetapan Collonges – Charlie Longsdon – Sedgefield
I was delighted Guetapan Collonges won last time at Huntingdon. I was hoping the step in trip would help and so it proved. He's up 6lb today but remains in good form and has chances of following up.

16/03/21 – 3rd 66/1 – Elham Valley – Fergal O’Brien – Cheltenham
Elham Valley took on smart juveniles in two small fields since winning on hurdles debut at Sandown. The handicapper has not been hard on him and at 66-1 he could be worth a small each-way interest.

16/03/21 – 3rd 7/1 – Getaway Jewel – Micky Hammond – Sedgefield
Getaway Jewel has been consistent and gradually improving in his races. I think he has a big chance today although I would have been even happier had Charlie Longsdon's horse not been in the field. Can go close.

15/03/21 – 1st 3/1 – I’m Wiser Now – Fergal O’Brien – Stratford upon Avon
We've seen enough of I'm Wiser Now, in hurdles before and now in two hunter chases to know that he doesn't quicken on soft ground. Unless it dries out before this race he may again have to be content with another finish in the frame.

15/03/21 – 1sr 100/30 – Parramount – Charlie Longsdon – Stratford upon Avon
Parramount has run well on both his starts in bumpers. He's had a nice break and if he runs up to that earlier form he would have a decent chance.

14/03/21 – 2nd 16/1 – Ernesto – Ian Williams – Warwick
We were expecting a better run from Ernesto at Doncaster last time and while beaten some way, he was a promising third in a decent novice event. He should take another step forward and has place possibilities again today.

13/03/21 – 1st 10/1 – Mokaatil – Ian Williams – Chelmsford
Mokaatil has his first run back since the autumn. The worry is that he might not be quite at his best against these good handicappers. He has plenty of ability although he has yet to win on all-weather.

13/03/21 -1st 13/2 – Flirtatious Girl – Kim Bailey – Sandown
Flirtatious Girl has won her bumper and been second to today's favourite. It is a mighty tough race and she will do well to be placed but she's very game and I very much hope she will. There are plenty of smart mares in this bumper with chances.

13/03/21 3rd 20/1 – Henschke – Warren Greatrex – Hereford
Henschke has his first run in a handicap today. He will still come on for the experience but it will be informative to see how he runs in this grade.

13/03/21 -1st 11/8 – Kangaroo Point – Ian Williams – Wolverhampton
Kangaroo Point is up 6lb for last Saturday's easy Southwell win and like The Rutland Rebel is an improver going for a hat-trick. I think the form suggests Kangaroo Point may have the greater improvement to come and returning to Wolverhampton should not be a problem. He remains in good shape and carries plenty of…

12/03/21 – 2nd 9/1 – Quoteline Direct – Micky Hammond – Wolverhampton
We've freshened up Quoteline Direct since his last disappointing run and he's now going really well. He's shown a liking for the track over a mile and a half but I'm still convinced he has the speed for this shorter trip. Good each-way prospect.

12/03/21 – 2nd 9/2 – Anightinlambourn – Ben Pauling – Sandown
Anightinlambourn was very disappointing last time on the bad ground at Catterick. On her winning form the previous time on better ground at Wincanton she would have a decent chance today.

11/03/21 – 2nd 125/1 – Who’s The Guv’Nor – Micky Hammond – Carlisle
Who's The Guv'Nor looks outclassed. He needs to complete the course if he is to qualify for a handicap mark.

11/03/21 – 1st 11/10 – Royal Arcade – Nicky Richards – Carlisle
I was delighted with Royal Arcade's debut over course and distance on heavy ground last month. We have a hotpot coming up from down south with apparently superior form, but he has to repeat it to beat us. In every novice hurdle nowadays there always one or two to beat, so you can't hide from…

Lady Chufnell has continued to be fit and well since winning at Plumpton. I think she's perfectly capable of following up.

10/03/21 – 3rd 12/1 – Jersey Wonder – Oliver Sherwood – Fontwell Park
Considering he lost his legs when jumping an early flight on hurdles debut at Taunton, Jersey Wonder ran creditably staying on well after being allowed to recover by Gavin Sheahan. He's run in two jumpers' bumpers since then, running well in the first then clearly taking little interest in the latest. He's a character and…

Kitty Hall was not disgraced behind an impressive winner at Musselburgh last time. A bumper winner last season, she should have each-way chances today.

09/03/21 – 1st 11/10 – Harlow – Ian Williams – Southwell
