Glittering Love stays well and does all right around here. I'm hopeful he will put in a good one today.

12/12/21 – 1st 11/2 – Abuffalosoldier – Warren Greatrex – Southwell
Abuffalosoldier ran a highly-promising first race when third to a subsequent repeat winner in a bumper at Uttoxeter. He has continued to impress at home since then and we think he can make it to the winner's enclosure today.

12/12/21 – 2nd 6/1 – Uncle Alastair – Nicky Richards – Carlisle
Three years ago when Uncle Alastair ran second just behind Vinndication in a novice chase around here we thought he could become a top-class chaser. Unfortunately he's only managed one run since but he seems still to have a bit of fire in his belly and it's not too late for him to become a…

11/12/21 – 3rd 12/1 – Roccowithlove – Warren Greatrex – Hereford
Roccowithlove returns from a long layoff. He was last seen winning at Newbury almost two years ago and seems to have retained his ability. He could come on for today's outing but we are just looking forward to seeing him back on track.

11/12/21 – 1st 3/1 – Two For Gold – Kim Bailey – Doncaster
This huge horse would prefer softer ground but having said that he did win on a similar surface to this at Wetherby a couple of seasons ago. Not many runners and a competitive race for Two For Gold who has been a prolific winner over the years. He is ready for this comeback and should…

11/12/21 – 1st 5/1 – Mucho Mas – Ben Pauling – Doncaster
Mucho Mas wasn't quite right on his hurdles debut at Aintree but he seems much more like himself now. I think he should go close today.

10/12/21 – 3rd 18/1 – Ask Dillon – Fergal O’Brien – Cheltenham
Ask Dillon has been uncharacteristically out of sorts so far this season but as yet the handicapper has been reluctant to let him off the leash. He has run well in races like this around here more than once in the past and a revival would not be a total shock.

10/12/21 – 1st 14/1 – Byzantine Empire – Fergal O’Brien – Doncaster
Byzantine Empire was in great form in the summer, winning twice at Southwell. He has had a wind-op since and returns off only 1lb higher. Dangerous at this level if he copes with the different demands of today's track.

09/12/21 – 1st 100/30 – Crystal Glory – Nicky Richards – Newcastle
Crystal Glory is a nice horse and after his debut win over hurdles at Hexham this is the next step in his education. Olly Murphy's horse is carryng plenty of confidence apparently but he could be in for a bit of an education too. He'll need to be pretty useful to beat Crystal Glory.

09/12/21 – 1st 14/1 – Glimpse Of Gala – Charlie Longsdon – Warwick
This is first time in a handicap for Glimpse Of Gala and she still has plenty to learn. She looks pogressive and if she can run on into a place in this big field I'll be happy.

08/12/21 – 1st 50/1 – Mister Watson – Ben Pauling – Lingfield
Mister Watson ran a couple of very good races in decent company last season without quite managing to get his head in front. He was below that form on his recent return but now off 4lb lower could go close in a wide-open handicap hurdle.

08/12/21 – 2nd 13/2 – Phillapa Sue – Fergal O’Brien – Lingfield
Phillipa Sue had good placed form in all four Irish bumper runs and was then in the process of running a decent race on only start for Graeme when unseating her rider over hurdles at Doncaster last March. She has had a wind-op since then and we are hoping for a decent debut for the…

07/12/21 – 1st 5/1 – Lady Of The Night – Kim Bailey – Fontwell Park
Lady Of The Night is a very consistant mare who would prefer a more galloping track. This looks competitive but she certainly has place chances.

07/12/21 – 1st 9/2 – Cilaos Glace – Oliver Sherwood – Fontwell Park
Cilaos Glace was a strong-finishing second over shorter last time and on ground faster than ideal. He was out of his comfort zone there but should be very much in it today with the going coming in his favour. Big chance on a track he likes.

06/12/21 – 1st 11/2 – Reset Button – Ian Williams – Wolverhampton
Reset Button showed his first semblance of form when fifth denied a run around here and then improved when a close third last time at Newcastle. Unfortunately he has a horrible draw but if he can get a clear run he could go very close again.

06/12/21 – 2nd 7/2 – Universal Folly – Nicky Richards – Musselburgh
Universal Folly won well last time and seems to be on the upgrade. It's a boys' race so you're somewhat in the lap of the gods, but if Conor can steer clear of trouble his 10lb claim against fellow conditionals will be a big help. Hopeful of the follow-up.

06/12/21 – 3rd 14/1 – Raddle And Hum – Micky Hammond – Musselburgh
Raddle And Hum won over hurdles in the summer but I'm confident she will be a better chaser. This is her debut and one or two lower down are obviously going to be dangerous, but she is bred for the job as three-parts sister to Aye Right who won the Rehearsal Chase the other day.…

05/12/21 – 2nd 13/2 – Lady Jane P – Fergal O’Brien – Huntingdon
For a long time Lady Jane P looked the likely winer of her comeback run at Worcester, but she was just outstayed near the line, finishing a creditable second. This is a better race but she is progressive and must have place chances.

It's a tough call for First Flow over this trip and on this better ground. He is in fine form at home and I would be delighted to see him run well and get the trip as it would open up new options. Place chances.
