Hurricane Harvey is made for this race. He is in top form and will go close.

Sevarano has had a good season, running consistently and the two races he’s won have worked out well. I’ve put a visor on him just to get him to travel as he can run lazily in his races. He was a good second last time out when giving 10lb to the winner who followed up…

The ground will probably be on the quick side for Delire D'Estruval. Over this longer trip, though, he should be all right and could be in contention up the home straight.

Whatsupwithyou won well at Ascot but bled last time at Warwick. The plan is to drop him in to settle and hopefully come with a finishing run up the straight.

Broughtons Rhythm is a star. He’s been consistent all career but as he’s one-paced he always finds one or two too good for him. He’s a very good jumper and a lovely honest horse to deal with.

Medallo Del Oro was a mid-80's Flat racer and he has taken immediately to jumping. We are hopeful of a decent performance on his debut.

We know we have a very nice horse in Third Wind, who has only ever been beaten once over hurdles. He is handicapped up to his form, so we have to hope he will have improvement in him as he faces a host of possibly well-handicapped rivals. He may be a gallop short but sometimes…

Simply The Betts is in very good nick at home and won nicely on the track last time. We're hoping he can turn up at the track in the same form and he's going there with a lot of confidence behind him.

The Macon Lugnatic was very impressive when making all over the course last time. We fancy him very strongly for the follow-up.

Glenduff won nicely first time but then was a little disappointing. We think he's probably happier on better ground so we left him off a bit, but he's in good form now. He's a horse we like and we think he'll win plenty of races, hopefully starting today.

Storm Goddess ran her best race for a while when a staying on third here last time. This is a slightly easier race and if she repeats her last run she could come home the strongest. Good chance.

Western Rules is another that probably wants better ground. He ran a decent race last time and there's no reason why he shouldn't do so again now.

Huddle is very consistent but often hampers her chance with a tardy start. If she gets away on terms I wouldn't be shocked if she went close,

Once rated in the high 70's Abel Tasman has come down a long way. He has a wide draw - all ours at two meetings do! - and it will need luck for him to show his best. If he does he'll go close.

Castle Robin is a very nice young horse. He was only seventh in a strong Listed bumper but a horse that finished behind him has won since. He'll be ridden positively and in a decent race could go well.

He's Our Star has a good each-way chance despite also being badly drawn. He stayed on well last time and can get into the frame.

Agent Valdez is a nice mare who wasn't good enough to win a novice but is now in her correct grade. Her recent wind-op has definitely helped her and we hope she will go close.

Local Affair did not get the trip last time when she ran far too freely. She comes back in distance and will be dropped in. Could go well.

On paper Rhosneigr should just about win this. He is not exactly straight-forward, but remains in good form.

The Bees Knees was quite a smart performer in Irish points. He goes well and should go close today.
