Today's longer trip will suit Jersey Wonder. I was delighted with his last run, staying on well up the straight on ground that was far from suitable. I loved the way he knuckled down as he hadn't aways looked resilient before that. Should go very close.

We're dropping Nightfly in class today and I think she has a decent chance. She is probably getting a little long in the tooth, but there are still races to be won with her if all goes well.

Bembridge has been a very backward horse who will not be fully effective until getting a handicap mark, while he will benefit greatly from a summer on his back. He is a three-mile chaser in the making so anything he achieves over hurdles would be a bonus.

Another Emotion got back on track with a solid run last time at Wetherby. Our promising 10lb claimer Caoilin Quinn rode him for the first time that day and they instantly clicked. I'm hopeful they can go one better in this decent contest today.

Stoner's Choice will love the ground and is in great form. The longer trip is an unknown but he shapes as though he will get the trip and must go close if he does.

Just Paddys Band is a nice sort but it would surprise me if he was good enough to get in the frame in this newcomers' event.

French Minstrel is not the most reliable and he certainly needed plenty of encouragement from his rider to get up in the last stride at Lingfield. This track should suit him better and he is in good form at home but that little voice in the brain screams "careful!"

The way Commit No Nuisance came through the field without his jockey admittedly last time was encouraging, although it was odd that he should be declared a non-runner, so you won't find it in the form book! Storm Goddess didn't get very far at Cheltenham but with the ground coming right for her she should run to form. The overnight rain will not have helped but in a competitive race she has a decent each-way chance. 

Jarveys Plate ran a good race last time in a jumpers' bumper at Kempton. It's a while since he won over jumps but he has plenty of ability. Could run into a place off his big weight today.

Sir Sholokhov won his sole Irish point-to-point and shaped with promise in his first two hurdle races. We think he has been given an attractive opening handicap mark of 114 and we are aiming to exploit that today.

This will be an interesting clash with Alan King's horse who on the ratings should have a little in hand and is therefore just favourite. I've always thought Marown would be a three-miler and expect he will improve for the better ground. If Kingy's stays the trip better than ours he will probably win and…

Schiehallion Munro has the form to win this race but he has been a bit quiet at home lately. I hope he shows his usual good form but to be honest I'd be worried that he might not.

Everything For You steps up to three miles and I'm hopeful that will bring improvement. I checked with the track this morning and the ground should be fine. Decent chance.

My Old Gold is a high-class mare and she was an excellent second in this veterans' race 12 months ago, just failing to get up after a strong finish. She won on the track in November and should agaiin make a bold showing here today.

We have two contenders in this five-runner handicap chase and on their best form either could win. For my money I think it's more a race to watch than take a view. Grange Ranger won well at Wetherby but a 7lb penalty will not make it easy for the follow-up.

The Mighty Arc ran very well when a 50-1 shot on debut at Chepstow finishing third. He was a bit sick after that race so we've given him plenty of time and he's fine now. Hopefully if he can progress as he should from that he would have a decent chance.

This lovely horse has shown a really good line of form. He has had a wind-op since his last run and that should help. This is a tough contest with three horses roughly on the same mark. We are very hopeful of a very good run from The Edgar Wallace.

Peur De Rien started with a good win at Uttoxeter before twice having to be pulled up owing to mid-race crises. He then bounced back with a neck second at Doncaster - that amused us as he has the longest neck in the entire stable! He had wind issues in the past but they are…

Saint Dalina is a tough mare who never runs a bad race. She's been thereabouts in some highly-competitive handicaps at the trip this season and I see no reason why she won't be in at the finish today.
