10/08/24 – 2nd 20/1 – Dream Harder – Ian Williams – Ascot

Dream Harder has been ultra-busy in recent weeks and turned out in a Racing League race at Chepstow on Thursday. Disappointing there, he isn't the most consistent.

10/08/24 – 1st 4/1 – Holkham Bay – William Knight – Ascot

Holkham Bay has done well since his win at York. We have a jockey that is highly-rated in South Africa and hopefully, they will get on well together. We're dropping back from 6f to 5f but at Ascot with its stiff finish, that isn't a worry. Big chance.

09/08/24 – 1st 9/2 – Alcazan – Roger Teal – Brighton

Alcazan won by a short-head at Ascot and has gone up 4lb which seems harsh. Joe can claim back 5lb at Brighton, where they had a drop of rain overnight which will help her. Eve's horse may challenge her for the lead, but if she can fend him off, she can go very close again.

08/08/24 – 3rd 28/1 – Saint Riquier – Ian Williams – Sandown

Saint Riquier was a promising juvenile hurdler two seasons back when he also ran well a couple of times on the flat. It's 22 months since those exploits and he's just starting back on the comeback trail. Looking for a nice run to get him going again.

08/08/24 – 1st 5/2 – Global Esteem – Fergal O’Brien – Sandown

Global Esteem ran well here on his return to the flat two weeks ago. Becky Smith has been back among the winners recently and they should go very well together.

08/08/24 – 1st 4/1 – Von Baer – Brian Meehan – Chepstow

Von Baer won nicely dropping back to 7f from 1m2f at Sandown last time. He is 3lb higher tonight and I see no reason why he cannot follow up. Big chance.

05/08/24 – 1st 5/1 – Finn Russell – Ian Williams – Carlisle

Finn Russell was one of our early pathfinders this season, but he hasn't yet rediscovered his form after a break. He might need a race or two still.

04/08/24 – 3rd 10/1 – Party Business – Ian Williams – Galway

Party Business has dropped sharply in the ratings and while he has been below his best for a while, he looks to have a big chance here. Each-way of course.

04/08/24 – 3rd 17/2 – Green Team – Ian Williams – Chester

Green Team had been below form until running a nice 3rd on this course two runs back. He took a backward step more recently but obviously on his best form from previous seasons, he's very well handicapped.

01/08/24 -3rd 66/1 – Toca Madera – Brian Meehan – Goodwood

On back form, Toca Madera would be interesting, but you would have to be very cautious on what he's done this year.

30/07/24 – 2ns 7/1 – Beggarman – Hughie Morrison – Ffos Las

Beggarman has been running okay. His job tonight is to entertain his owners on a night out in the far reaches of Wales. Enjoy!

30/07/24 – 3rd 16/1 – Rocking Ends – Tom Clover – Goodwood

Rocking Ends has tons of ability and if the race falls right he will outrun his odds. He can throw in the odd bad run but when he's good he has a nice race in him.

30/07/24 – 1st 7/1 – Surrey Fire – Hughie Morrison – Lingfield

Surrey Fire was maybe 70% fit after a long layoff last time and should be 90% this time. We'll find out much more about his ability and attitude now.

27/07/24 – 1st 6/1 – Night On Earth – Ian Williams – York

NIght On Earth has been doing nothing different, getting loose on the lead, but normally just unable to ward off strong finishers. He should like the fast 5f here and can keep them worrying for a long way. He deserves another win.

26/07/24 – 1st 6/1 – Von Baer – Brian Meehan – Sandown

Von Baer clearly didn't get the ten furlongs around here last time, the first run after his gelding operation. He ran well at a mile previously and should find this 7f up the hill ideal. Hoping he can break his maiden tonight.

26/07/24 – 1st 12/1 – Alcazan – Roger Teal – Ascot

Alcazan was in season when she ran last time and I think that's a feasible reason for the poor run. Hopefully, she will bounce back and while it's five furlongs rather than six, it's pretty stiff so she should be okay. Place chances.

26/07/24 – 1st 13/2 – Ambassador – Micky Hammond – Uttoxeter

Ambassador is always competitive when he can run in 0-100 handicaps around Uttoxeter. We're taking 7lb off and Josh will have him handy from the outset. Should be thereabouts.

25/07/24 – 1st 8/1 – Royal Velvet – William Knight – Yarmouth

Royal Velvet looks a big price considering he's a CD winner last time and up only a couple of pounds for it. He has a nice weight and looks a good each-way chance, but all the fields here are full and very competitive.

25/07/24 – 3rd 20/1 – Getaway Jewel – Micky Hammond – Worcester

Getaway Jewel just squeezed in at the bottom of this handicap. We would have preferred a chase, but the hurdles here are French-style so they need to be jumped. There's no other option and we wanted to get a run before the three-week shutdown after the 28th of the month. Can go well under the…

25/07/24 – 1st 6/4 – God Of War – Tom Clover – Doncaster

God Of War ran very well in a hot race at Yarmouth on debut. Granted the normal improvement, which I think he has made, he should go well today.
