Jersey Gem ran well on her debut here two weeks ago, She travelled nicely early on before losing her place and then staying on strongly at the finish. As you know, I like my horses to run through the line so I was happy that Lewis wasn’t over-hard on her, and maybe if she’d held her position in the back straight, she might have been closer at the end. Most importantly, she came back from that race full of confidence and should show the benefit this evening.
