Sophosc did well over hurdles last season, winning his first three and running better than the form suggests on his only defeat last time at Ascot. He hasn't been at his best on the flat this year, but now making his debut over fences, he has that high hurdles mark of 120 to overcome. If he should win this he would have quite a future as a chaser, but it's a tough enough task.
