When Stay Well won his maiden so easily at Windsor early in the season it probably got his career off on the wrong foot. He wasn't really ready to make the step into high-class handicaps and I am convinced we won't see the real Stay Well until we cut him at the end of the year, give him a nice winter off and bring him back as a four-year-old. Top-weight here looks tough in this race but we'll be doing our utmost to keep the good stable run going.
