Rubytwo is what she is, a great servant who we would like to see win another race before she visits a stallion in the New Year. She's in good order and it would be perfect if she could defy the odds and gain that win today.

Tip Top Cat is in great form and loves the track. We need to make plenty of use with him as he's dropping back in trip but we anticipate another very good run. Should go close.

Voyburg ran well last time when a good second at Huntingdon. This track should suit him and a repeat of that run should ensure he finishes in the first three or hopefully better.

Sophosc is in the right race and stamina is not an issue. The potential worry with him is that if there is a dawdle on up front then he might be too keen and compromise his chance. Let's hope there's a good gallop.

We like Guerlain De Vaux a lot. He jumps well and is a much bigger price than I expected. Sure to go well and I'm very hopeful he will finish in the first three.

Charming Paradise didn't run too badly last time at Lingfield running on well after going very wide on the home turn. My worry is we're going back rather soon with him but he could go close.

Meadow Sprite has been running well. Earlier this morning I thought 16/1 looked very unflattering but I see now she is much shorter. She has run well on her last three starts and should do so again. I just wish it was a 0-60 rather than 0-70. There's a big difference!

Carlow Farmer did not seeem to enjoy jumping fences as the letters rather than form figures after his name testify. Hopefully back over hurdles he can regain some confidence in this modest maiden contest.

Unit Sixtyfour starts handicapping from a low mark. As his last Irish point showed he has talent and should stay today's trip. He will need to settle better than in his races for us so far but if he does he could easily figure at this modest level.

Gege Ville is one of two nice horses we run in this bumper. They both make their debuts here and Gege Ville was nuch the cheaper but he goes well. Interesting to see how it pans out between them.

Mayo Star is a very fragile horse and if the ground today is not on the easy side heading towards soft I may not run him. We'll see when we get there.

We run two nice horses in this race and Famous Bridge delighted me when second on his debut for the stable at Carlisle. He looks in great condition and if he can improve a little for that experience he would hold a great chance today.

I've always liked Tango Tonight and she showed promise on debut at Kempton. I haven't been able to do much with her since but she could outrun her odds.

It's taking me a while to warm to Beggarman whom I originally struggled to trust entirely. After that first win at Kempton I'm reconsidering, but he isn't the most straightforward and if he didn't follow up it wouldn't be the biggest surprise.

Eyeofthescorpion made a promising start first time for us at Ffos Las and is probably just a shade better fancied than stable-companion Polish who has to concede him 13lb. Mind, it could be very close between them and they both have decent claims in an open race.
