Accidental Rebel did well to win on stable debut after his arrival from the Henry de Bromhead stable. This looks a more competitive race but he seems a horse with plenty of potential and he could follow up here at rewarding odds.

My Fernando is by Mr Brookhouse's own stallion Yorgunnabelucky and shows promise. You never know what lurks in these bumpers and this looks potentially a decent one, but we are hopeful he can make a promising start to his career.

Musical Mystery has been running all right and is now in the correct company, back in a handicap after his fourth in a novice. He sneaks into this 0-65 from 2lb over the top and that represents a drop in grade for him. Additionally, he faces three-year-olds. Good chance.

Sergeant Paimter didn't make a bad job of his first run over fences. He should have derived plenty of benefit from that and he is just about the best horse on overall form in the contest. Obvious chance.

Right Destination is in good form and finally has been getting some respite from the handicapper. It never helps when they win first time out, but she is now down to a sensible mark and has each-way chances today.

Piecederesistance had a couple of spins over hurdles but didn't enjoy it and you can ignore them. He's a flat horse pure and simple and he has done plenty of work. He's a massive price but as his French form shows, he is decent and i wouldn't be shocked if he ran a big race…

Jamacho is in good form and this is his time of year. He didn't really enjoy chasing but back over hurdles and close to his last winning mark he could go well.

Reshoun did well to finish fifth from his nightmare wide draw in the Ascot Stakes on Tuesday and is better placed here. He came out of his race very well and is at least a guaranteed stayer. Could well outrun his odds.

Gonfalonier made a quiet start to life here when down the field at Ayr. He will need to show a lot more to figure today.

Royal Rift returns after a break and could need the run. Also he might be better over a mile-and-a-quarter so something of a watching brief tonight.

Alain Cawley, who has recently retired, was the regular rider for Who's The Guv'Nor and favoured extreme waiting tactics. I've snapped up Brian Hughes, a rider much more ready to go forward and I think those tactics will suit the horse. Could well surprise everyone as he has ability and a rock-bottom mark!
