Maninsane won his bumper nicely at Stratford. He's drawn the tough division here but that's the way it is. He jumps well and I'm looking forward to seeing him run.

Chazza fell when in front three hurdles out at Newton Abbot on his return, and this is very much needed as a confidence-booster. He is more of a chaser than a hurdler, so place chances today.

Mokaatil is going the right way in the handicap and  is a few pounds lower than when he last won in the summer of 2019. Richard is unwell so we'll need to find a suitable replacement, and whoever gets the call could have a pleasant surprise if all goes to plan.

Almost Gold was very disappointing last time at Hexham when the ground had probably gone too soft for him. This trip and track suits him and I'm expecting a much better showing now.

This is a good race for Grageelagh Girl, going back up in trip. She will be ridden more patiently than last time and has good each-way claims.

This is a a nice starting point for Cool Destination's chase debut, but others in this race look classier. We are hoping for a solid clear round and he could conceivably run into a place.

Captain Tommy has had a couple of runs over fences and now steps up to what should be an ideal three miles. He should be much more of a factor today than previously.

Ballycrystal has been coming down the weights and today's trip is more suitable than the two miles we tried him over last time. He's won around here before so we're hoping for an improved performance.

Teqany has been in cracking form all summer. He is still improving and can win this despite carrying top- weight

Desert Gulf goes nicely. The Dascombe horse will be hard to beat, but oura horse could make up the forecast with the favourite.

Cathal's Star has run a couple of okay races for us around Doncaster, although it looked at though three miles was too far for him last time. This track is probably not ideal, but two and a half miles is a more suitable trip. As I said earlier, there just aren't the races to plan…

This is a first run back for Young Lieutenant since his summer break and a wind-op. He has been training well and we are expecting a positive performance today.

Dragons Will Rise won at Newcastle just before lockdown, staying on well over a mile. He badly needed the run when unplaced at Hamilton last week when he probably didn't enjoy the soft ground. Back on Tapeta he should go well and I expect him to cope with the step up to a mile and…

The Bees Knees has run well on every start to date. Unlike the market leaders he has no penalty today so he could challenge them. Will go close.

We run two fillies today - both bought at the breeze-ups - and like many horses that have come from that source, have had their problems. Born Leader didn't seem to appreciate Southwell contrary to my expectations, but gets into this race on a very nice mark compared with the her work at home. She…

I can't work Capone out. He got there too late at Market Rasen and then stepped up in distance at Fontwell got there too soon and faded. He has ability but sometimes it seems he might not have the heart for the job and is a bit soft. No doubt he'll prove me wrong today…

Quick Grabim needs to show something today. He struggled all last season on testing going, but gets the better ground he requires today. He has been jumping fences well at home, so each-way hopes or even better but a risky betting proposition.

This is very much the Last Chance Saloon for this good-looking mare. We have added a tongue-tie to see if that will help Drumreagh. Her best runs have been at Uttoxeter. If she goes well there again, hopefully she could be placed.

Amberose is a pretty consistent mare who usually runs her race, albeit at a fairly low level. Each-way chances today.

We've only had Mini Milk for around a month but she's been working up a storm, certainly better than anything she's shown previously. I've dropped her back in trip and reckon she is certainly worth a small bet at the available odds.
