I'm not worried about stepping up to a mile and a half with Percy's Pride in what looks a winnable race. She has a nice draw, won't mind the ground and looks to have a big chance.

El Hibri is a Shadwell home-bred gelding who is quite nice and has been working well. He may just need the race and I'm not sure if he'll handle the ground but there will be races for him further down the line.

We've always thought a lot of Mandoob and nothing he has done in his two winning races has altered that opinion. This race was on our radar for him even before he went to Haydock and track and trip should both be ideal. Big chance despite the rise in grade.

Quel Kaima a daughter of Exceed And Excel makes her debut. She goes okay but is probably best watched tonight.

The rider held on to Centurion Song a little too long here last week and when he asked him for his effort he could only gradually close the gap on the leaders. He wasn't beaten far though and now reverts to the minimum trip with I believe an each-way chance. 

An easy winner over further at Newton Abbot last time, Drumlee Watar is on the upgrade. That was his first run after a wind operation and the 8lb he has gone up in the weights might not prevent the follow up.

Art Man has been rather disappointing in both starts but as a half-brother to a couple of decent hurdlers including our Art Approval, he remains one with potential. We are looking for some improvement here.

As High Say has been untroubled in winning three in a row, the last time switching to fences. Back hurdling again she is 8lb higher today but ought to complete the four-timer.

Myboymax made a pleasing enough start for us, staying on to be fourth over this course and distance. This is a much stronger race and if he did manage to figure somewhere in the finish, his owner, who lives in the Midlands, will think his £800 purchase price was a decent investment.

Leading Knight has been knocking on the door in recent starts. He can be given an each-way shout on his form at Fontwell two races ago.

Royal Village was not himself at home after his last run but seems fine now. If the ground stays as it is he has a chance although to be fair he is rather in-and-out.

I think Caius Marcius has a nice chance. He blew up at Stratford after his break and he's sure to improve a bit for that. I'm expecting a good run today.

Ex Mark Johnston horse and not a usual source for me. Gold Zabeel goes alright but this will tighten him up. He will win races and today he has a small each-way chance.

We have two runners in this low-grade handicap and quite honestly it's hard to separate them. We tried Goodwood Glen in a visor two runs back and now re-apply it. He, like Progressive Ez, is in good form and we can't really run him in much lower class. A big price but I wouldn't be…

We're stepping up Buxted Too a couple of furlongs and he would appreciate a decent pace up front. Whether or not that materialises he will be turning up late on. Decent each-way chance.

Oneforthegutter was a relatively expensive purchase from the breeze-ups. I expect him to do better over further in time but this is a great place for him to start off his career.

We were very optimistic before Coral made his stable debut at Stratford over two miles but he was outpaced from the start. It could easily be that we got the trip very wrong - he ran over three miles for his previous stable - and we think he deserves another chance at the longer distance.…

Leading Theatre, a daughter of top stayer Leading Light was placed in the second of two irish points late last year. She goes really well at home and we expect her to go close first time out in this mares' bumper.

It was a step in the right direction for Hoot At Midnight last time. If she can maintain the progress here she should not be too far away at the finish
