Master Gustav is a nice horse making his debut. He works nicely and I expect him to be staying on well. He's not a sexy horse but I'm sure he will win races for Mrs Lofthouse, owner of Cornerstone Lad.

08/03/21 – 1st 11/4 – Hes No Trouble – Kim Bailey – Wetherby
The track and trip should suit Hes No Trouble and we have added cheek-pieces. He ran well last time and this looks a good opportunity. Should go close.

08/03/21 – 1st 15/8 – Docpickedme – Harry Whittington – Southwell
Docpickedme won his Irish point and has shaped nicely in two hurdles runs. This looks a winning opportunity for this likeable gelding.

03/03/21 – 3rd 16/1 – Imperial Storm – Fergal O’Brien – Wetherby
Imperial Storm ran a promising race first time at Southwell and should progress from that. He's a really nice horse but the favourite is obviously the one to beat after his demolition job on debut at Exeter.

06/03/21 – 1st 11/10 – Kangaroo Point – Ian Williams – Southwell
Kangaroo Point opened his account well last time at Kempton. He tries Fibreand for the first time and has as good a chance as any in this tight three-horse affair.

06/03/21 – 3rd 16/1 – Ernesto – Ian Williams – Doncaster
Ernesto was a Listed performer in Germany but disappointed generally on the Flat here last year. He was beaten a long way on hurdles debut but he's a massive price and I expect a much better showing today as he still shows plenty of ability.

06/03/21 – 1st 2/1 – Sayadam – Kim Bailey – Kelso
This well-bred horse has been pleasing us at home and we hope for a very bold showing. It's a good little race with a reputedly decent horse coming over from Ireland. Should go close.

06/03/21 – 2nd 11/2 – Our Jester – Hughie Morrison – Newbury
Our Jester is out of Cill Rialaig and therefore from a family that has done the stable proud over the years. We are hoping for a positive first run.

06/03/21 – 1st 8/1 – Red Infantry – Ian Williams – Doncaster
Red Infantry has taken time to get back into the swing after a long absence. There were glimmers last time though and now 3lb lower and over a more suitable trip he should be fit enough to make the running which he loves to do. Value price.

06/03/21 – 2nd 6/1 – Java Point – Kim Bailey – Newbury
Java Point has been waiting for better ground and this is a very open race. He ran well when fourth to Chantry House here last season and that form is rock solid. Has a great chance of being placed or better.

06/03/21 – 2nd 18/1 – Duke Of Navan – Nicky Richards – Doncaster
Duke Of Navan is a wonderful old boy who loves running at Doncaster. He's very well and if he can get the run of the race he won't be too far away.

06/03/21 – 3rd 18/1 – Hasanabad – Ian Williams – Newbury
Hasanabad won the first of two hurdle races last summer and has since been back on the Flat where obviously he is useful. He was unlucky in a Lingfield jumpers' bumper. He looks a big price in this first handicap hurdle and the tongue-tie should help him.

06/03/21 – 1st 40/1 – Dragon Bones – Ian Williams – Doncaster
Dragon Bones wasn't at all disgraced in fourth behind the top-class Eileendover in her Listed bumper at Market Rasen. She looks a big price considering these are all around the 120 mark. There's plenty of stamina in her pedigree so I'm optimistic.

06/03/21 – 1st 6/1 – Always Resolute – Ian Williams – Newbury
Always Resolute has come down a long way in the weights over this winter. Track, trip and ground should all be suitable and in this veterans' handicap hurdle, albeit slightly better than the one he missed through unsuitable ground at Doncaster yesterday, he must have a decent chance.

05/03/21 – 1st 11/1 – Psychedelic Rock – Ian Williams – Doncaster
Two runners in this veterans race, the top-weight and youngster Psychedelic Rock, age 10, who is coming down the weights and the two-years-older Twojayslad, who is going the other way. Psychedelic Rock ran his best race of the season in his recent jumpers' bumper and will like the faster ground. Small each-way bet at a…

05/03/21 – 1st 5/2 – One More Fleurie – Ian Williams – Doncaster
One More Fleurie ran a great race to get up and win late on last time. I'm not worried about three miles for him and as he remains in great form he has a favourite's chance and can win again.

05/03/21 – 1st Evens – Timberman – Fergal O’Brien – Doncaster
Timberman has a very similar chance with the Skelton runner and both are fit from good runs in jumpers' bumpers. Should be close but hopeful he can confirm his undoubted promise with a first win.

– Khuzaam – Ken Pitterson – Chelmsford
This lightly-raced type has performed to a high level in Listed races and was only outdone last time in a race at Deauville. He now tackles a slightly easier contest and he has the form in the book to win.

04/03/21 – 1st 9/2 – Miss Honey Ryder – Warren Greatrex – Taunton
Miss Honey Ryder has been disappointing of late. The combination of a drop in class and going up to three miles could produce a return to her best form.

04/03/21 – 1st 4/1 – Thinque Tank – Charlie Longsdon – Ludlow
Thinque Tank barely stays two miles so the fact the ground is drying out is a positive and he's at the right end of the handicap. He travels really well through his races and it's just a question of if he lasts home. I hope he will.
