Dancing Gemini did it very nicely at Newbury and we have a high opinion of him. It's a big step up in class but I'm confident he can handle it. Hopeful.

13/09/23 – 1st 5/4 – Isabella Bee – Fergal O’Brien – Uttoxeter

Isabella Bee should have won last time and she can hopefully make up for it today. Pittsburg is the danger, switching from fences off a low mark.

13/09/23 – 2nd 12/1 – Blazeon Five – Roger Teal – Southwell
Blazeon Five has been fabulous for us over the past 12 months, winning five handicaps including last time at Kempton. She has won at Southwell so even though it will be tough off her career-high mark, we are hopeful she can run her race as usual and go very close.

12/09/23 – 1st 7/4 – Lusitanien – Fergal O’Brien – Worcester

Lusitanian was bought for a very small sum at last month's Doncaster sale. He hasn't won in 16 starts but he was 3rd in both a bumper and his first hurdle back in the day. He is something of a challenge, but his mark of 72 couldn't be much lower and hopefully, he can start…

09/09/23 – 1st 7/2 – Elham Valley – Fergal O’Brien – Stratford upon Avon

This race is hard to predict especially as I don't think that in his present form, Elham Valley is up to running anywhere near his mark. He could well be found out again, but hopefully, he will go better than the last couple of times as this is a weaker race.

09/09/23 – 3rd 50/1 – Enemy – Ian Williams – Haydock

Since picking up a massive prize for finishing 2nd in Saudi Arabia in the winter, Enemy has struggled to find his form. This should be his ideal trip, but in his present form it's hard to give him more than an outside chance.

09/09/23 – 2nd 12/1 – Rogue Millennium – Tom Clover – Leopardstown
Fingers crossed, Rogue Millennium seems very well. We'll need a bit of luck for the draw and hopefully, they go a decent gallop. It would be great if she could grab a place in this Group 1.

07/09/23 – 1st 5/2 – Blue Sans – Fergal O’Brien – Southwell

Blue Sans didn't take long getting back in the swing after her little time away to run in a point and she has won her last two nicely. Her hat-trick bid is complicated as she is facing a couple with similar recent credentials, but she always runs her race and we are hopeful she can…

07/09/23 – 1st 5/2 – She’s A Novelty – Fergal O’Brien – Haydock

She's A Novelty has been enjoying her stint on the flat and seems to be improving race by race. In that context, being 5lb higher than for that nice win at Windsor should not prove too prohibitive. We are hopeful of a follow-up.

06/09/23 – 2nd 6/1 – Lordsbridge Girl – William Knight – Kempton Park

Lordsbridge Girl is back at Kempton where she usually runs well. I'm taking 7lb off tonight and expect her to be very competitive. Each-way chances.

06/09/23 – 3rd 8/1 – Rogue State – Tom Clover – Southwell
Rogue State is a nicely-bred filly who goes well. She starts off in a decent race but we expect her to shape with plenty of promise.

06/09/23 – 1st 18/5 – Regal Envoy – William Knight – Bath

I'm running Regal Envoy back quickly as he'll be getting his fast ground today and everything went wrong at Beverley where he was twice denied a clear run. Hopefully, the visors, which didn't help last time as he had his troubled run, will make a difference today.

04/09/23 – 1st 5/4 – Azahara Palace – Hughie Morrison – Chepstow

It's nice to have one three-year-old that's been well handicapped and as Azahara Palace started from a low point, even after two wins and a near miss, she still looks reasonably treated. That is probably true of one or two others in here, but she likes to win and no doubt will be trying her…

04/09/23 – 1st 100/30 – Barney’s Angel – Ian Williams – Windsor

Three absentees, including one of the fancied ones, eases the task of top-weight Barney's Angel a shade. Yet to win a race, he has been pretty consistent and got within half a length of former stable-companion Liberated Lad at Nottingham in an amateurs' handicap. He'll be benefiting from stronger handling from David Egan and can…

02/09/23 – 2nd 22/1 – Inishfallen – Brian Meehan – Sandown

It looks like a tough day at the office for our three runners at Sandown but they each could have done better last time if things had gone their way. Inishfallen ran a blinder in that very competitive York nursery last week when Sean thought he might have held on to him a little longer…

02/09/23 – 1st 9/2 – Dual Identity – William Knight – Sandown

Dual Identity didn't run too badly either at Royal Ascot or Goodwood, but his mark has dropped 5lb over the two runs. He's now 4lb lower than when narrowly beaten on the "wrong" side in the Cambridgeshire and as a CD winner, he could be dangerous.

02/09/23 – 1st – no available price. – Silent Film – Ian Williams – Kincsem Park

We flew over with Jim and Fitri Hay and Frankie Dettori, who will be riding the Hays' Silent Film in this local Hungarian Group 2. He faces three other UK runners, and if he can build on his strong-finishing 4th in the Shergar Cup off 98 last time, he should go close.

01/09/23 – 1st 5/4 – Gambie Tiep – Ben Pauling – Fontwell Park

Now a three-runner affair and not only does Gambie Tiep get 14lb and 12lb from his two opponents, Beau's 5lb claim stretches it even further. He's no star but we think there's another race or two in him and hope today could be one of them.

01/09/23 – 1st 4/1 – Lady Percival – Hughie Morrison – Salisbury

Lady Percival has been very difficult to train hence her late return to action. She ran well at Wolverhampton under a big weight the other day, and now we're on the turf. She hasn't seen grass, even at home, since her run at Haydock last September as we have to be careful with her, but…
