Jaytee was never going the pace on hurdles debut at Newbury. This longer trip is more in keeping with his jumping/stamina pedigree and we'll be looking for rather more involvement today.

Amberose was kicked into touch by Theflickeringlight at Newcastle and that winner followed up in equally convincing style at Wetherby. The truest maxim in racing is that weight can stop a freight train and Amberose is 17lb better for 13 lengths, so she has a sporting chance of overturning the form.

Heavenly Promise is in good form after her short break. She has a 9lb lower mark over hurdles than fences. She will love the heavy ground and this is her perfect trip so we are very hopeful of a win.

Miss Molinari will love the ground and showed at Plumpton if she is anything it's a stayer. We think we're in the right division, so are hopeful of getting in the money.

The Retriever enjoys the surface and has an each-way chance. Paul Mulrennan has ridden him before and believes he is up to winning a race of this nature.

Sammy Bill has won both his chases impressively this season but is still some way off the finished article. A big, keen-going horse with a huge stride, he needs to learns to relax in his races if he’s going to reach his full potential. A good jumper, he can take the odd chance but he…

Petite Power remains in great form and loves these long-distance races. His low weight rather disguises that this is his highest mark yet but he should still go close.

This lovely big horse won his bumper here last year. He ran better than the finishing position suggests on hurdles debut at Ascot and has every chance of winning this to maintain his unbeaten course record.

Shesoneofourown is a quality, rangy mare by Sageburg. She has shown a straight-forward attitude at home but like all of ours first time, will come on for the experience. She is a likeable type and should one day tackle fences. We are looking forward to getting her out and starting her racing career.

Last time out when coming with a run Shaffire was unfortunately pushed very wide but stayed on gamely to finish fourth. She seems to be thriving off her work and racing so hopefully she can run a big race back in a handicap against the fillies.

Keeper Hill wasn’t enjoying himself last time out and was pulled up,  but has been in great form at home since and schooled very well. This is a competitive race but if he can get in a rhythm early on and jump well, as previously at Haydock, he could put in a big performance.

I hope Gowiththeflow will perform to the best of his ability as this race comes very quickly after Kempton. It looked a suitable race and he seems still to be in good order, so we're giving it a go with some optimism.

Lucky's Dream was very unlucky when fourth here last time after a lengthy break. It would be nice to think he'll have some fortune today in which case he ought to win.

It took the whole of the Newbury straight to get Maridadi wound up, but she finished well in third and the experience should not be lost on her. There's not too many of these fillies' bumpers so you're pretty much committed to running where you can. The ground here might not be ideal, but we…

Two For Gold has had a good start to the season winning both his chases to date. This is a big step up in grade but we think he has decent place chances in a tough race.

I love Conceal. He ran well for a long way on debut at Chepstow and is a massive price today. He could go close.

On Springs is another talented horse. He ran very well on debut at Ascot considering how green he was and  must have a decent chance here. We are running two nice bumper horses today.

Dontdelay is a true mud-lover and we hope those are the conditions we will find at Sedgefield today. With a light weight and a positive ride, he has a good chance of finishing in the first three.

Robaddan has run well enough when fourth in two novice hurdles and qualifies for a rating after that. We're switching to chasing now with that 110 mark and are hopeful of a positive debut.
