Scorpion Haze has been disappointing this season but it might just have been he hated the heavy ground both times. In any case we needed to run him in handicap hurdles to qualify him for novice handicap chases. He needs to show more to figure in this sphere.

We eased off a little with Dragons Will Rise after his last run when he seemed a little below par after a busy spell. We're very happy with him at home and while he might just tighten up a little for the run, I think he has an excellent chance on a track he likes.
