Two weeks ago if you told me Whitehaven would be 7-4 favourite for a Newmarket 0-85 handicap I would have suggested you visit your medical consultant. Two quick and easy wins at Yarmouth; heavy ground which he seems to cope with and bottom weight make the impossible quite feasible. I probably still wouldn't have aimed him here except that there's no other turf option before the end of the season. Let's hope he continues to confound us all.
