Alfred Boucher has rarely run a poor race throughout his career and the pattern has persisted in his two runs since joining the stable, both at Chester. Firstly he was a staying-on second over this trip to today's rival Soapy Stevens and then dropped to 1m4f, he was just edged out by our other runner Haliphon. He is up 2lb for that but remains in great order and looks one for the frame at least.
