Carlow Farmer clearly didn't enjoy chasing but showed more like the form he is capable of when runner-up at a big price returned to hurdles at Haydock. If in the same mood he would take plenty of beating as he stays and goes in the ground but there is always the worry that he is not entirely reliable.
