We're double-handed here. I'm Ravenous is in good order after his win last time over hurdles and we're stepping him straight away into this handicap chase. He jumps well at home and looks on a fair enough mark for his debut over fences. Hopeful.

Korus will probably have a bit to learn today. He jumps okay but in time may require further.

Orchestra had a tune-up around Kempton last month. He has yet to win over jumps, but in a trappy race, he could be a factor.

Castle Rushen hasn't won for a long time but he's in good order. On his best form, he would look very well treated here.

Chianti Classico had a wonderful season last winter. He returns in the ideal race when we can see if he has improved again. Outstanding chance.

Sugarloaf Lenny has been running very well since switching to AW this season, with two wins followed by another two close 4th places. The track should suit him and he looks to have a nice each-way chance.

Saracen Beau is a lovely horse and he is developing nicely. He ran well on his debut in a bumper around here in March. I expect a big run on this first effort over hurdles.

Harrys Hope has won both his races this season and seems well, He should go close but having been raised 7lb for the first of them, he is now another 6lb higher for the latest. No formality.

A few niggling issues forced us to wrap up early with Chatshow Tv last season. He has done well for the break and with his problems hopefully resolved, we should see him in a much better light now.  

Chancycourt has yet to win but his latest run at Worcester a month ago suggested it may not be long delayed Each-way chance on a day of big, competitive fields.

It's been a bit of a struggle lately for Ajp Kingdom. He tries first-time cheek-pieces and we're claiming 5lb in the hope that might bring a positive response.

Eyed came to us when Paul Webber retired this year. He seems a nice horse but it's hard to gauge him as he blows all the time and it seems wise not to over-gallop him. I hope he's fit enough and we'll find that out today.

Siog Geal was an impressive winner first time out of a Belharbour point-to-point, easily beating a subsequent winner that is now with Harry Derham. Our mare shows plenty of talent and we have to be hopeful of a good start to her Rules career.

Kamsinas progressed last season in his first hurdles campaign winning three novice races including a Grade 2 at Haydock. There's still a bit of juice in his handicap mark of 130 and we expect him to go very close.

Mokaatil has been running okay off the higher mark he earned with two summer wins at Chepstow. He's always liable to turn up and he's an attractive each-way price if he does.

Hackney Diamonds has her last throw of the dice before going to the sales next week. She won at Leicester in July and didn't run too badly last time. Hoping for a decent effort with next week in mind.

Plaisir Des Flos made spectacular progress in handicaps last season and begins the new campaign 29lb higher after four impressive wins. Until he does taste defeat, we'll be going to the races with plenty of confidence.

Flagon Dry goes there tonight with excellent chances. He's run two solid races around Wolverhampton and should enjoy going up to a mile. He's nicely drawn and seems to be improving. Hopeful.

Just Chasing May has the Skelton horse to beat but won easily at Uttoxeter before his break and is progressing well. We're claiming 10lb off him.
