Premiere Ligne has not been easy to win with. He did run well first time back from a break when 3rd in a big field at Windsor, though, and is fit and well.
Atlantic Gamble has started slowly giving himself no chance in both his races this year. Kempton should suit him better and if Marco can get him away alertly from his nice draw in 4, he could have a small each-way shout.
Rajindri was unlucky not to win at Yarmouth and is in great form. She has a good record on this course and with a smooth run round can hopefully go close.
Rocking Ends is pretty well handicapped on the best of his form and he goes there in good shape. He hasn't been with us long but he seems straightforward and should go well.
Caprelo did well to win on season/handicap debut at Kempton. I'm not sure why, I'm not as bullish as I might have been, but he's only a few pounds higher and ought to have improved.
Railway Bell was caught on the line in her latest of two Irish point-to-points last November. She shapes nicely at home and we're hopeful she can go close today.
Rocking Ends is pretty well handicapped on the best of his form and he goes there in good shape. He hasn't been with us long but he seems straightforward and should go well.
Beach Point ran a very good 2nd at Bath last time. It was soft there that day but quicker ground should not bother him and he can go very close. Big chance.
Monkey Island has his issues but he is going very well in his work. The form of his first race at Ascot of two last year has worked out well - he wasn't far behind Ten Bob Tony - and I think he's worth an each-way bet.
Piecederesistance goes well fresh and has a lovely inside draw. He's in much better form this time around than when 6th in this race a year ago and I'm very optimistic of a big run.
Dancing In Paris ran a blinder over 1m2f at Lingfield on Saturday, just failing to get up. This 1m4f might stretch him, but if he does get home, he has to be a contender.
Another from Godolphin, Charencey won at Newcastle last November but has hindered himself on recent outings with slow starts, although he's often had difficult draws on that track. It will be interesting to see where he fits in handicaps on the turf.
Over Spiced was unlucky not to win on debut at Brighton. This is a big field but she has some experience behind her and should give a good account again.
Haymaker should have won at Brighton, but lost an amazing amount of ground at the start, before flying up to the field. He was just outstayed there, but with a normal break should win.
Law Of The Sea was an unlucky 4th under Franny Norton - Mr Chester - in the Cup last year and now gets in the Plate. We tried him afterwards in all the valuable staying handicaps but to no avail. Now, with Franny back for the first time and his own initial run here since…
Penpal is a horse that bleeds in his races. He won two starts back, having bled the time before and that was the problem again last time. It's always a risk, but touch wood if he's fine tonight, he will surely go close.
Two good ground horses are at Market Rasen today and both should run well. I think Summergrounds has landed on the easier of the two races and he knows his way around here. He's been off for the winter but has done plenty of work and I'm hoping for a big run.
Village Master comes here on the back of two victories and seems to be improving with his races. Hopefully, he can add to his tally and complete the hat-trick.
