El Hibri handles his races well so should not be bothered by the swift turn-around from Wolverhampton on Friday. Rather than finishing a close 4th there he might have won with a clear run and should be bang there once again. Hopeful.

Lincoln Burrows got found out by the heavy ground at Ayr but still ran well in 3rd. Emma gets the buckshee 3lb for riding for us and he'll be happier on this surface. Good each-way chance.

Moon Over Mexico showed decent form in Irish points. If as expected the ground will be wet, he shouldn't be inconvenienced. Hopeful.

Jaytee ran two good races close together just before the New Year on this track. Nicely handicapped still but this is a stronger race today.

Les's Destiny Star was bought at the Land Rover sale in the summer of 2022. We've been looking forward to this first run and hopefully, he will give those of his rivals with solid experience something to think about. Hopeful

Champagne Twist was an impressive winner of his final Irish point and has shown priogression between the first and second run over hurdles. If he can maintain the improvement from his latest 2nd at Cheltenham, he would have a favourite's chance here.

Justus was picked up relatively cheaply at the HIT sale and the experienced flat-race handicapper won at the 2nd time of asking over hurdles. The best we can do here is to run into a place behind Fergal's smart young mare.

We run two in this. Fainche was very disappointing last time, pulling up but it was her first run for us, and she'd been off the track since her last run in Ireland more than a year before that too. Watching brief.

Sun Joy has been free in his races for us so far. He was a winner on the flat in France and shows ability at home. We're trying cheekpieces today to see if he'll settle better. Small each-way chance.

Herakles Westwood is going the right way having won his last two. A comfortable scorer in two novice handicaps he now steps into open handicap company but with a mark that he can still handle. Looks good for the first three.

Roysse is probably my best chance on the day. He never shows much at home, but I think he could be one of those horses who finds plenty when he gets to the track. I expect him to outrun his odds.

Abuffalosoldier has had a wind-op since his last run and seems in good form at home. Cheekpieces are applied to help him concentrate. He has good form on this track over hurdles, and hopefully, he can translate that to fences.
