Who's The Guv'Nor looks outclassed. He needs to complete the course if he is to qualify for a handicap mark.

11/03/21 – 1st 11/10 – Royal Arcade – Nicky Richards – Carlisle
I was delighted with Royal Arcade's debut over course and distance on heavy ground last month. We have a hotpot coming up from down south with apparently superior form, but he has to repeat it to beat us. In every novice hurdle nowadays there always one or two to beat, so you can't hide from…

Lady Chufnell has continued to be fit and well since winning at Plumpton. I think she's perfectly capable of following up.

10/03/21 – 3rd 12/1 – Jersey Wonder – Oliver Sherwood – Fontwell Park
Considering he lost his legs when jumping an early flight on hurdles debut at Taunton, Jersey Wonder ran creditably staying on well after being allowed to recover by Gavin Sheahan. He's run in two jumpers' bumpers since then, running well in the first then clearly taking little interest in the latest. He's a character and…

10/03/21 – 2nd 17/2 – Kitty Hall – Nicky Richards – Catterick
Kitty Hall was not disgraced behind an impressive winner at Musselburgh last time. A bumper winner last season, she should have each-way chances today.

09/03/21 – 1st 11/10 – Harlow – Ian Williams – Southwell
Harlow turns out again quickly after finishing third at Lingfield on Saturday. This looks an ordinary contest and if Harlow takes to the surface he would have a big chance. We're very hopeful.

09/03/21 – 2nd 8/1 – Murvagh Beach – Nicky Richards – Newcastle
Murvagh Beach was very disappointing in his bumper and has taken a bit of practice to get the hang of hurdling. He ran a bit better last time and we've given him a wind-op since. He'll need to be picking up the pieces soon. Hopefully today!

08/03/21 – 3rd 16/1 – Master Gustav – Micky Hammond – Wetherby
Master Gustav is a nice horse making his debut. He works nicely and I expect him to be staying on well. He's not a sexy horse but I'm sure he will win races for Mrs Lofthouse, owner of Cornerstone Lad.

08/03/21 – 1st 11/4 – Hes No Trouble – Kim Bailey – Wetherby
The track and trip should suit Hes No Trouble and we have added cheek-pieces. He ran well last time and this looks a good opportunity. Should go close.

Docpickedme won his Irish point and has shaped nicely in two hurdles runs. This looks a winning opportunity for this likeable gelding.

03/03/21 – 3rd 16/1 – Imperial Storm – Fergal O’Brien – Wetherby
Imperial Storm ran a promising race first time at Southwell and should progress from that. He's a really nice horse but the favourite is obviously the one to beat after his demolition job on debut at Exeter.

06/03/21 – 1st 11/10 – Kangaroo Point – Ian Williams – Southwell
Kangaroo Point opened his account well last time at Kempton. He tries Fibreand for the first time and has as good a chance as any in this tight three-horse affair.

06/03/21 – 3rd 16/1 – Ernesto – Ian Williams – Doncaster
Ernesto was a Listed performer in Germany but disappointed generally on the Flat here last year. He was beaten a long way on hurdles debut but he's a massive price and I expect a much better showing today as he still shows plenty of ability.

This well-bred horse has been pleasing us at home and we hope for a very bold showing. It's a good little race with a reputedly decent horse coming over from Ireland. Should go close.

06/03/21 – 1st 8/1 – Red Infantry – Ian Williams – Doncaster
Red Infantry has taken time to get back into the swing after a long absence. There were glimmers last time though and now 3lb lower and over a more suitable trip he should be fit enough to make the running which he loves to do. Value price.

06/03/21 – 2nd 6/1 – Java Point – Kim Bailey – Newbury
Java Point has been waiting for better ground and this is a very open race. He ran well when fourth to Chantry House here last season and that form is rock solid. Has a great chance of being placed or better.

06/03/21 – 3rd 18/1 – Hasanabad – Ian Williams – Newbury
Hasanabad won the first of two hurdle races last summer and has since been back on the Flat where obviously he is useful. He was unlucky in a Lingfield jumpers' bumper. He looks a big price in this first handicap hurdle and the tongue-tie should help him.
